Billiard lights

Hanging billiard lights can be done by following this process:

• Make sure all is inclusive – As soon as you have selected a light fixture, you should check the accessories to make sure that all of the chains and mounts are included inside the box. Not all of the billiard light fixtures you can buy include everything you will need, but most of them do.

• When you are ready to install billiard lights, use your tape measure to determine how to best position of the light based on its size. You should remember that the billiard lights should provide light just beneath it onto the table, but not anywhere else. The bottom of the light is most effective if it hangs about three feet above the center of the table. This is usually about 60-70 inches above the floor.

• You should assemble the billiard lights as much as possible before trying to hang them and attach the chain. You should be extra careful when attaching the lampshade because these can often easily be broken or torn.

• With a screwdriver, climb a ladder if needed and attach the billiard lights to the ceiling mounts with the chain included. The links in the chain can be adjusted or removed until the bottom of the light hangs about three feet above the middle of the table.

• The last thing that you need to do is simply step back and check the work you have done. As long as the billiard lights are even and look good, then it is likely that you are done.
